Kia Ora! Ko Amelia ahau. I'm Amelia and I am an indigenous Maori woman from New Zealand. I live in Memphis, TN and teach the Maori language, haka, poi and Maori culture to learners living in the USA and globally through my business Learn Maori Abroad. My tribal affiliations (iwi) are Ngātiwai, Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Awa. I look forward to partnering with you on your te reo Māori journey!

I have been teaching for many years and love to share my culture and language with students! Teaching te reo Māori and Maori culture is my life's work and passion.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I customize my lessons to my students needs. I also created my own Maori language curriculum which I use with my students. I usually give my students homework to work on outside of class. I recommend students engage with te reo Maori as much as possible and have many resources I can offer to students so they can do this.Certificados
