Zak is a wonderful teacher and a very kind person. I am very happy to have found him. The material he uses for the structured lessons are great! He is well prepared for every lesson and teaches a good balance of grammar, vocabulary, written and oral comprehension as well as speaking and writing. He gives homework to practice what we learnt in between lessons. He is extremely knowledgable and has a great way of explaining things. I feel my French progressing with him and he is very encouraging. I highly recommend him!

In lessons, he strikes an appropriate balance between getting the student to express themselves in the target language as much as possible while also ensuring that he provides scaffolding/support where required so as to build confidence. Zakaria is always calm and patient. He is an exceptional teacher who teaches with warmth, kindness, and great sensitivity. I’m probably not the most diligent student.
