Hi! I can help you improve your pronunciation! I am a trained Speech and Language Therapist and I help 2nd language English speakers make permanent improvements to their pronunciation. We will work together so that your pronunciation will be better not just in the classes, but in your everyday conversation outside the classes. I have worked with adult students from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belarus, Brazil, France, Poland, the Republic of Korea and China and established real change. I am kind and patient with a sense of humour and believe that it is very important to build trust and confidence between teachers and students. Anyone that is learning a language needs to feel relaxed and comfortable enough to make mistakes as they learn. I work with a variety of materials, from exercises to dialogues, videos and conversation and keep the lessons interesting and enjoyable. I look forward to meeting you!

In our first lesson I will find out what your objectives are, and we will start to chat and get comfortable with each other. I will then ask you to do some reading so that I can make an assessment of your pronunciation. I will discuss with you and agree the first steps and targets. From then on, the lessons will be based around a step-by-step approach to building correct pronunciation into everyday speech. We will work as a team, so we can both give feedback at any stage about the process. For faster results, you will be asked to do some exercises at home, just for a few minutes a day. I've been studying with Anne for a while now. Anne is a very patient and caring teacher with a systematic approach to correcting pronunciation errors. I'd recommend her lessons to anyone interested in British pronunciation who wants to achieve results.

Thank you very much. This is another great lesson. I have been working with her regularly for a few months and it is great to see the progress. As a Chinese/Cantonese native speaker, I did not notice some of my pronunciation have heavy accent or even under wrong way, although I learned English for quite a while already. Anne is helpful and patient for catching and correcting me, in a fun and interesting way.

Today’s lesson was fantastic! I learned so many new things. I love Anne's approach with teaching pronunciation and I really appreciated that she would kindly correct me if I made grammatical errors while I was speaking.
