Hi everyone, my name is Midori! I am a native English speaker and a CELTA & TEFL certified teacher from the USA. My greatest passion is learning about people, languages and cultures.
My mom is from Japan and my dad is from Venezuela but I was born and raised in the US, so I grew up with a natural interest in learning about the world around me.

Tengo más de 4 años de experiencia enseñando inglés como segunda lengua. He enseñado en aulas y en línea, en escuelas públicas y en una universidad privada en Japón, en grupos e individualmente.
Mi forma favorita de enseñar es individual, porque es la experiencia de aprendizaje más versátil y flexible. Como profesora, soy amable, paciente y simpática.
Muchos de mis alumnos llevan muchos años aprendiendo inglés a través de los libros de texto en las aulas, pero aún no tienen confianza en sus conocimientos lingüísticos. Mi papel como profesora es ayudarles a construir esa confianza con cada lección. I like to establish a friendly relationship with my students -- you should feel comfortable enough with me to speak freely, make mistakes and express your opinions. For my conversation classes, I like to keep the discussions natural and realistic in the same way that you would have a real-life conversation with a native speaker, rather than a formal, classroom-like experience.Mi material didáctico
