Hola, soy Matthew. Originario de Miami, Florida, soy un apasionado de los idiomas y los viajes. Soy un profesor de inglés colombiano-estadounidense certificado por CELTA y entrenador TOEFL que vive en Estambul, Turquía.
He pasado toda mi vida con estudiantes de inglés. Crecí en un hogar con un papá americano y una mamá colombiana, a quienes presencié aprendiendo inglés mientras crecía en la universidad. Pasé mucho tiempo con estudiantes internacionales de todo el mundo y les ayudé a adaptarse a la vida en América. y después de graduarme, me mudé a Estambul, Türkiye, y aprendí turco.

Tengo experiencia enseñando a estudiantes en una variedad de entornos y de diversos orígenes. Uno a uno con un hombre de Yemen, clases en grupo en una comunidad 100% hispana, en un aula con estudiantes que tienen discapacidades leves a severas, y en línea con estudiantes de Türkiye y Alemania.

It's my second lesson with Matthew and I enjoyed it a lot. I'm a somewhat experienced English speaker which is why I usually don't learn new words in a regular conversation. But with Matthew's lesson I learned a whole lot of new words, expressions and idioms because he prepared useful speaking activities for the lesson. They were also really fun! He also gave me tips on how to improve my pronunciation. Thank you very much! :)
