La enseñanza me ha abierto los ojos a la rica diversidad de perspectivas culturales que conforman nuestra forma de vivir, pensar y relacionarnos con el mundo. A través de este viaje, he llegado a apreciar hasta qué punto nuestras lenguas llevan el peso de nuestras identidades.
He dado clases particulares de inglés, lingüística y biología a nivel universitario, y aporto esa profundidad académica a cada sesión.
Como educadora, mi objetivo es honrar a cada estudiante como persona en su totalidad, no sólo como alumno. Mi enfoque en el aula es uno que fomenta el autodescubrimiento junto con el desarrollo de habilidades, animando a los estudiantes a explorar el lenguaje como una puerta de entrada para conocerse a sí mismos más plenamente. Mi método de enseñanza es constante y adaptable, basado en la coherencia, pero siempre atento a la dinámica propia de cada grupo al que enseño.
Introduzco elementos de diversión y compromiso en el ambiente de la clase, haciendo que las lecciones sean animadas tanto en el tono como en la forma de impartirlas.
Mi objetivo es ayudar a los alumnos a conectar con el contenido de una forma que les resulte natural y adecuada a su edad, utilizando ejemplos relacionados y métodos lúdicos para afianzar la comprensión.

In my opinion, Miss Phila is one of the best teachers on Italki. She is so professional and qualified I can't even describe. I feel highly comfortable and calm with here during the lessons and the best thing is that she always tries to challenge me which ultimately leads to an increase in English level.

I can confidently say, that this was one of the best trial lessons I’ve ever experienced on ITalkie. Phila is very organized, she has multiple tasks to work with and within about 50 minutes we covered Grammar, Speaking and Reading exercises, which is very impressive. Thanks a lot 👏🏻💓

I just had the most delightful Zulu language lesson with Phila! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she also has a knack for making each lesson productive, fascinating, and enjoyable.
What I love most about Phila's teaching style is that she goes beyond just teaching the language. She takes the time to share the history and culture behind certain words, which has helped me gain a deeper appreciation for the language and its roots.
Phila comes to each lesson fully prepared, and she even provides additional materials after class to make learning Isizulu a breeze! In just a short time, I feel like I've made significant progress and now have a solid understanding of the core rules and concepts of the language.
I'm so grateful for such an amazing lesson and for Phila's dedication to helping me learn Zulu. I can't wait for our next lesson, and I'm excited to continue this language journey with her! :)
