Hello & welcome! My name's Mindy from Los Angeles, California, and I teach English with a native U.S. accent. I've been using Italki for years as both a teacher and student—I love it here!
I'm an architect & writer who's been traveling since 2018; I love meeting people from around the world, and I'm here to help you improve your English—building up your speaking confidence, expanding your vocabulary, explaining the quirky grammar and nuances of English.

Mi objetivo es ayudarte a que te sientas seguro y poderoso cuando hables inglés, para que tu aprendizaje de idiomas cobre vida. Como yo también he aprendido idiomas, estoy familiarizada con el proceso de subir de nivel, desde los avances hasta las mesetas y los escollos. Creo en el poder de la inmersión para aprender idiomas rápidamente, y te animaré a hablar y comunicarte durante toda la clase, sea cual sea tu nivel.

Mis clases se centran en la conversación: podemos hablar de tus intereses y aficiones, noticias y acontecimientos actuales, aventuras de viajes y mucho más. También podemos utilizar letras de canciones, fragmentos de películas, artículos de noticias e historias cortas, dependiendo de su nivel y sus objetivos. Por ejemplo, la música es una forma muy eficaz de aprender idiomas (sobre todo en la etapa principiante-intermedio) y la lectura de historias atractivas es una forma estupenda de potenciar la fluidez lectora.
En la clase de prueba, hablaremos de tu nivel actual, de tus sueños y objetivos para mejorar tu inglés y de tus intereses, y a partir de ahí elaboraremos tu plan de juego para aprender idiomas. Vamos allá.Mi material didáctico
