Me llamo Nguyen The Vu, nací en Vietnam y he vivido en Vietnam toda mi vida. Ahora vivo en la ciudad de Vung Tau, una ciudad costera cerca de la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, al sur de Vietnam. Me encantan los idiomas y llevo más de diez años trabajando como profesora de vietnamita en línea. Enseñar idiomas es mi actividad más feliz, ya que puedo conocer a gente de todo el mundo y compartir con ellos mis conocimientos sobre la lengua, la cultura y la historia vietnamitas. Me siento muy agradecida a todos mis alumnos, que me han ayudado a ser cada vez mejor profesora a lo largo de todo este tiempo. Aunque antes de enseñar vietnamita en línea, había sido profesora de inglés en Vietnam durante casi diez años. Pero enseñar en línea ha sido una experiencia muy diferente y hay que tener tiempo para acostumbrarse. Gracias a italki, que ha reunido a profesores y estudiantes de todo el mundo, muchos estudiantes de todo el mundo han acudido a mí y me han dado muchos consejos y comentarios sobre la enseñanza de vietnamita en línea y lo que los estudiantes necesitan, cómo llevar a cabo las mejores lecciones para adaptarse a diferentes personas de todo el mundo. Creo que la mejor manera de que los estudiantes aprendan vietnamita son las clases prácticas en el idioma vietnamita de inmediato. Before the internet developed and connected the world, I had worked as a classroom English teacher in the schools. When internet has developed in the world and since the years of 2000s, internet has developed greatly in Vietnam, I have been familiar with working online as a Vietnamese- English, English- Vietnamese translator. Then I have been an online teacher for Vietnamese language up to now.

Vietnamese language teacherI have been working as a Vietnamese online teacher through Skype and Google drive, emails since 2011 up to now and I have been very happy with teaching Vietnamese for people around the world online! Teaching Vietnamese language to people from the world and sharing my knowledge about Vietnamese history, culture and language are the most happy activities for me. Many of my students have come to Vietnam and we have been travelling around together, speaking Vietnamese language and enjoying Vietnam.

Vu's lesson today was very good. We focused on talking about the weather and the differences between driving in weather between US and Vietnam. Even if I wasn't able to put together all the details quite fast enough, Vu was very good with helping me along so we could keep the conversation going. He is very polite and helps exactly when you have something to say.

I would highly recommend Anh Vu for your vietnamese lesson needs! He is patient and courteous with a wide vocabulary in both English and Vietnamese. He is especially helpful if you're someone like me who learned Vietnamese when they were a child but forgotten it growing up, he has helped me unlock parts of my Vietnamese I've forgotten plus added a few new words and grammar structures as well as some fun cultural facts as he travels around Vietnam to share with his students. He also has tons of structured plans if you need that but I find the conversational style more helpful since I've learned at least the basics already. Any words you don't know he'll record them for you in a doc with an English translation so you can study later. I can't recommend him enough and also can't thank him enough for the lessons!
