Me llamo Elizabeth y enseño la lengua inglesa en italki. Soy hablante nativa de inglés con acento neutro canadiense. Vivo en el oeste de Canadá y tengo un máster en literatura inglesa y estoy en proceso de doctorado. Soy profesora titulada de inglés como lengua extranjera y escritora y editora profesional. Aunque estoy capacitada para enseñar inglés, ¡también disfruto de conversaciones sencillas con conocidos!

Yo como profesor
A lo largo de mi formación, he dado conferencias y he sido ayudante de cátedra en literatura y teoría literaria. Más recientemente, he trabajado como redactora y editora de empresa a empresa y he impartido talleres de comunicación empresarial a emprendedores. En todos estos campos he dado conferencias y he dirigido debates para grupos grandes y pequeños de estudiantes. En la actualidad, doy clases particulares a estudiantes de inglés como segundo idioma a través de Zoom, desde gramática y pronunciación hasta conversación. Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Soy paciente y corrijo los errores de los alumnos. Pero también te ayudaré a aumentar tu comprensión del inglés, ya sea escuchando, hablando, leyendo o escribiendo. Personalizo las lecciones para satisfacer sus necesidades específicas y su nivel.
Para cultivar relaciones productivas entre profesor y alumno, empiezo con una clase de prueba obligatoria, tras la cual me reúno con los alumnos, si se apuntan a _ clases continuas_. (No estoy disponible para sesiones "intensivas" de una sola vez.) Para mayor eficacia, dirijo las reuniones a través de Zoom.

"CLB Bootcamp" - Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks - 2022Although described as a "10-hour onilne course," this course consisted of several weeks of weekday study. The CLB Bootcamp taught English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors about the Canadian Language Benchmarks for literacy assessment (CLB), including their theoretical framework and the CLB documents.
Teachers learned how to use the CLB for module and daily lesson planning, and how to implement Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA) for lesson creaetion.

With Elizabeth I do conversation,she helps with vocabulary and pronunciation .She has a beautiful accent and is easy to understand. We use videos ,music recordings ,films ,series as well as operas ,singers ,actors and actresses so as to we have a lot of material for particularly interesting conversations .The sessions are always planned ahead carefully so the using of Zoom is made very easy by her posting the links for it a few days before and on the very day of the conversation .Elizabeth is very well-organised ,very punctual,quite knowledgeable in a lot of subjects and in general extremely pleasant,warm and empathetic. It is always a great pleasure to have a lesson with her.I highly recommend her.
