My two sons (11 and 15) have been learning English with J.C. for a little less than a year. Their English has improved from beginner to intermediate level, mostly through reading and writing practice. I receive updates about each lesson and their study progress, and I have been very impressed with J.C.'s teaching.

My 14-year-old twin boys have been studying (each of them individually) with J.C. for almost 3 years. One of them started at the age of 11 with the goal of improving his conversational skills. My other son joined a year later. He was extremely shy and lacked confidence in his abilities to the point where he struggled even with basic tasks. From the very first lesson, J.C. managed to find the right approach for each of them, keeping them both motivated and engaged. He’s truly able to tailor his teaching methods to the individual needs and capabilities of each student. Both boys have made ENORMOUS progress. I can confidently say that J.C. is by far the best teacher we have encountered. He has a clear plan, is fully dedicated to his students, and strikes the perfect balance between being approachable and maintaining authority. Hi all, I’ve been taking English lessons with Jay for the past two years, and I truly appreciate his teaching methods. He tailors the lessons to my needs and prepares topics based on my interests. At the end of every class, we go through my mistakes together—a method that works very well for me. In addition to my own lessons, my two sons (aged 13 and 9) have also studied with Jay. Their progress has been remarkable. Jay is excellent at adapting his teaching style to suit each child’s English level and personality. My children really enjoyed their lessons with him. My older son worked on speaking and grammar. He created presentations on topics he enjoys and discussed them with Jay, which significantly boosted his confidence and fluency. My younger son focused on reading and writing. At first, he struggled to write even a few lines, but within a couple of months, he was composing long texts with ease. I highly recommend Jay as a teacher for both adults and children.

Jay has been tutoring our daughters weekly (1.5-hour online sessions) for nearly 70 lessons. Our goal was to maintain their high English level after transitioning from a bilingual school to a public secondary school. ​Jay is an outstanding teacher. He quickly identified their weaker areas, targeted them intensively, and successfully advanced their skills.
