I am a native speaker of American English and currently live in the state of Minnesota, where I was born. I have previously lived in Spain, and also briefly in the Czech Republic. I speak Spanish at an intermediate level, and continue to practice it when I can. I'm afraid I've forgotten the few Czech terms I picked up while in Prague. I enjoy doing outdoor activities (during the summer), as well as reading and occasionally writing.Mostrar traducción

Here on italki I'd like to primarily teach through conversation, though I certainly can design lessons and activities if needed. I have most experience in teaching speakers with an intermediate level of English or better. As mentioned earlier, I have experience teaching in bilingual classes in Spain. I have also tutored in-person, and have CELTA certification (a universally recognized qualification to teach English as a second language).Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I think conversation is a great way to learn, as it forces you to practice listening as well as speaking. Typically, while in conversation, I will make note of areas where we can make improvements, and subsequently devise some activities to practice in these areas, though I am very open to what you, as the student, want to get out of these lessons. Not every student's purposes for learning English are the same, so if you just want to practice a certain aspect of English we can do that. I am willing to help you with writing, reading, exam preparation, pronunciation, etc. Just let me know!5.0
