Juan Daniel - Tutor

I am gratefu to have found this teacher. He knows what he is doing, I am grateful for his corrections, he is lots of fun to talk to.

Juan Daniel is an excellent teacher. His classes are organised and structured, yet allows for the natural flow of conversation. He is well prepared, going into depth with each topic. In a conversational class, you can expect to learn something new and interesting; oftentimes you’ll learn some local slang. He also is friendly and open, making you feel comfortable and calm. Can absolutely recommend!

I can't believe I understood pluscuamperfecto in like half a class! Amazing teacher.

Homework was to write sentences illustrating each of the rules where subjunctive is applied. A really good refresher on the various rules. We discussed these in class and then drilled down into subjunctive with negative opinion. Juan is always amazingly patient!

We revised infinitive, subjunctive and indicative, together with interpretation of an audio text. We always start with conversation, which I enjoy, despite struggling to remember vocabulary with my aging brain!

In my first class with Juan, he was patient and pleasant while getting to know me and my level of Spanish. Juan also suggested dynamic resources, and I enjoyed the practice activities during the lesson. I’ll definitely book more lessons with Juan, and I’m excited to learn and grow my skills!
