Nadir

Learning Amharic with Nadir has been an incredible experience. He structures lessons thoughtfully, seamlessly blending grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice. In September, I decided to start learning Amharic with Nadir, and what I appreciate most is his ability to adapt to my learning style while making each lesson engaging and interactive. He is a gifted teacher—clear in his communication, intentional in setting expectations, and passionate about his students’ success. He makes learning both fun and meaningful, celebrating every milestone, big or small. Beyond his exceptional teaching skills, Nadir is incredibly committed, encouraging, and professional. He provides valuable resources and assignments that reinforce what I learn, making the process even more effective. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from him. If you’re serious about learning Amharic, I highly recommend him!

So awesome! I not only did I have fun, but Nadir challenged my brain! Nadir has a truly remarkable way of teaching, and you do have to put in the work to make it work. He is a very talented, and intelligent man. I'm so honored to be able to learn Amharic! This is fun, even though it's not an easy language for an English speaker like myself to learn. Once you get going, you'll catch on more, and more. Remember that a language doesn't necessarily translate to your native language. A new language is about interpretation. Immerse yourself in the culture, and foods, and most of all the people! With time, and patience you will be successful! Nadir is so helpful with the materials he sends me, and from there I must listen, and read, over and over. He really impressed me, because he went above, and beyond teaching me. I used to be a little doubtful, but now I am certain that in time, with hard work, fluency is very attainable. Don't ever give up. I love me some Habesha! God bless you!!!

Had another really awesome lesson with Nadir! Going to an Ethiopian dinner in less than two weeks, and I want to make a great impression and socialize in Amharic. Nadir was so helpful, and he always has my back. Nadir is the best! 🏆

This is my first lesson I had with Nadir while back in Ethiopia after about 8-9 months studying on a near-weekly basis with Nadir from the US. My family and friends in Ethiopia are shocked at how much better I am speaking and how much more I know now. I wouldn't be able to speak this well without the resources that Nadir provides and his fantastic teaching style!

Nadir is a really patient and friendly teacher who is able to create a positive environment that encourages you to speak. His lessons are very well-structured. He will share lots of helpful content that is right for your individual level and regularly keeps track of your progress. Highly recommendable to anyone who is looking for a goal-oriented approach!

Nadir is an amazing teacher! In a little over a month, he helped me go from being unable to string a sentence together in Amharic to feeling comfortable making simple conversation and getting to an A2 level. He is very attuned to what will help the student learn quickly. I highly recommend Nadir!
