Hey there! My name is Yohei. ✨
(My name is pronounced just like when you say “Yo!" and "Hey!” to get someone’s attention! lol)
I lived in San Jose and work at Japanese Class in the local high school.
Before coming here, I used to live in Vancouver, Canada for three years.
I always keep in mind and do my best to give lessons which are not only informative, but are also tons of fun to take part in.
I promise to offer entertaining classes filled with laughter so that learning a new language is as hassle-free of an experience as possible!
I'm really looking forward to studying Japanese with you! 😆

Yohei san is the best!! I’m going to Japan so soon, and I only started lessons yesterday giving him so little time to help me prepare, but he’s sooooooo patient, helpful, knowledgable and fun to work with even under these circumstances. Makes me even more excited for my trip, and committed to learning Japanese even beyond this trip! Domo arigato!!

Yohei is legit one of the coolest tutors I've had. He's super attentive and our conversations flow super well. He helps me expand my Japanese ability while also giving me time to make mistakes and learn from them. He's patient and funny and gives amazing recommendations for books, movies, and shows.

Yohei is an amazing teacher. He creates a fun and comfortable environment for the students to learn and feel okay making mistakes. He keeps the content easy to digest and teaches you the words to be able to talk about your favorite hobbies. I have enjoyed each lesson with him immensely. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to study Japanese.
