When learning how to communicate in Italian, it's important to gradually move forward into discussing more complex topics. Gabriele is great at introducing these types of topics. Today we talked about the U.S. economy. He was very patient in helping me with vocabulary and sentence structure. Of course, he also is great at offering corrections, which is an integral part of the language learning process. I am looking forward to seeing him again next week for another lesson.

I had my final Italian lesson before I travel to Italy in another day. It's great that it was with the amazing Gabriele. I have been working with him on and off for more than two years now. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming. It's just incredible that, through the magic of technology, I am able to be in America speaking to an Italian man living in Cambodia. What are the odds of that!? Gabriele is pleasant, patient, intelligent and kind. He's everything you would want in a teacher. I can't wait to tell him about my trip after I return in a few weeks. And no, Gabriele, there won't be any Vespa riding this time :-).

I Just had another enjoyable conversation with Gabriele. I am very happy that he is available for more lessons. He is a natural conversationalist and very interested in me as a student. He has a great perspective on life by virtue of living in several countries, including the United States. He explains things well and makes helpful corrections. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to learn Italian.

Thank goodness for technology. Without computers and the Internet, there is no way I would have the pleasure of knowing Gabrele. He is an extraordinary person and a great Italian tutor. He is pleasant to talk to and naturally knows the Italian language well. He is also able to explain things, which is very important for a teacher to be able to do. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in improving their speaking and listening ability in Italian.
