I'm Iris, living in Jiaxing, China. I graduated from VU Amsterdam. Cross-cultural communication is one of the courses of my major. I believe I can talk with you barrier-free, no matter what country you are from.
I'm a travel and photography enthusiast and have been to many places, possibly yours! But most importantly, I love learning and sharing languages with people from different cultural backgrounds.
I have plenty of experience in teaching Chinese. When I was studying abroad, I helped my classmates from different countries to pass the HSK. Now I am teaching some ethnic Chinese and foreign children to learn Chinese in my spare time.

During my study abroad, I made Chinese learning plans for my classmates from Holland, Germany, the US, and other countries, and taught them Chinese in my spare time, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. With my help, some of my friends have successfully passed the HSK, and some have been crazy about Chinese culture.
After returning to China, I still insist on teaching children Chinese. My lessons are interesting and can stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of children, so many Dutch children have been learning Chinese from me.

Iris is a great teacher. I knew not a single word of Chinese when I started. We began with personalised PowerPoints that contained the most frequently used vocabulary and now we have moved onto forming sentences and having conversations. I would highly recommend Iris!
