Igor is an exceptional instructor - he is able to easily combine the expert skills of a professional language instructor with the relaxed, friendly, flexible way of meeting students where they are at. I have been taking Russian language lessons from him for five years now - and have enjoyed every lesson and made steady progress. I highly recommend Igor for anyone seeking to learn or maintain Russian language skills.

It was nice to have a speaking practice class with Igor! He asked me interesting questions on technology, changes, etc. He also gave me citations from the Bible and he was calm, patient, disciplined and he made me speak more in English which is good! He is a teacher with a good personality and it was really nice to talk to him on different topics. I hope to see him again some time soon. It was nice to meet him today!

Igor is a very professional, engaging and cheerful Russian teacher. He helps me improve by providing well-chosen topics for discussion, carefully listening, and gently correcting me when I need correction. Lessons feel like conversations, which is satisfying because my goal is conversational fluency.

Extremely friendly and super patient. I am a new learner so it’s difficult but I had fun.

Igor is a very patient and caring professor.
