Julie

I spent the past 6 months doing conversation practice with Julie. I’ve only been learning French a few years and, although I felt fairly confident with the grammar, I always doubted my ability to speak French. From the very first lesson Julie made me feel at ease and I knew that with her, I could progress. Her experience learning languages herself means that she understands the troubles faced by non-native speakers as well as the importance of speaking in enhancing written language skills. I feel so much more confident now in my ability to speak French - thank you so much Julie! :)

Julie was very friendly. She listened to me carefully and asked what my learning goals were. She encouraged me to continue talking even though I know my French isn't very good. :-) I think we'll have a great time bringing my French more ready for my trip!

Been meaning to write a review for a long time. I've been taking French conversation lessons with Julie almost every week for six months now, and she is amazing. My French is somewhat fluent, so our "lesson" is mostly just unstructured conversation, but it's great practice for me, and she's always helpful and non-judgmental when I don't know a word or stumble over some difficult grammatical thing. Julie has terrific insights about the language learning and teaching processes more generally too. She's super easy to talk to, always has interesting things to discuss, and has wonderful energy. I'm in such a good mood at the end of every lesson. :)

Julie adapte très bien son niveau de parler à ses clients pendant tous les moments et adapte aussi quand ses clients s’améliorent :) c’est très cool.
