Ms Dana is patient, always waiting for me when I am trying to squeeze words out. She let me speak first if I have something to say, listens attentively and types out more natural ways to express myself in Korean. She also asks questions that make me think and respond in Korean, which has helped me gain more confidence in speaking - Although my grammar is not perfect, I know that I can still be understood! At the end of each class, she shares topics for our next lesson, so I can prepare relevant info. She also gives me the freedom to discuss anything I want. The topics she suggests are practical ones that you will discuss with a friend from another country - education system in my country, my thoughts on marriage/ relationships, books I enjoy, etc. In every class, there is a mix of small talk, where I can speak freely without preparation, and deeper conversations - I find it really useful! Long story short, I highly recommend Ms. Dana to all Korean learners!

성생님 한국에 있었을때 실제로 만날 수 있어서 정말 좋았고 반가웠어요. 그리고 지금은 싱가포르에 있지만 선생님을 italki에서 만날 수 있고 선생님께 한국어를 배울 수 있어서 정말 기뻤어요. 오늘도 재밌게 수업을 들었고 재밌는 이야기도 서로에게 나눠서 좋았어요. 감사합니다!

It was really hard to find a teacher who can work with kids. And Im very happy to find Dana. Me and my son really enjoyed today`s lesson! We will continue learning korean with Dana. Thank you Dana!

We are so lucky to have Dana as our 8yo's Korean teacher. We live in the USA, and my son takes Korean lessons from her everyday. Dana is always prepared for her lessons with stories, Youtube videos, and is fully engaged. She's kind, patient, and understanding. Our son always looks forward to his lessons. I have recommended her to our friends, and they all agree that she's a wonderful teacher.
