Hello! I am Andy and I am from Guatemala. I have a deep passion for language learning and language exchanging. I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from all around the world and make marvelous friends from a huge variety of places and backgrounds. I absolutely love to learn about the world's different cultures and traditions, which is why language exchanging and tutoring have been such a huge part of my life, thus, allowing me to gain a lot of experience in those matters.

Como tutora comunitaria, mi objetivo es ayudarte a lo largo de tu camino de aprendizaje del español. La mayor parte de mi experiencia como tutora proviene del intercambio de idiomas, ¡que me ha funcionado de maravilla! Me gusta que mis clases sean lo más personalizadas posible, sobre todo porque me permite crear un gran vínculo con mis estudiantes, lo que siempre es útil cuando se trata de la comodidad y la confianza necesarias a lo largo del camino de aprendizaje de idiomas. Siempre soy muy relajada y paciente; siempre voy al ritmo de los alumnos ya que mi objetivo es poder ayudarles de la mejor manera posible. Además, siempre me gusta mantener las sesiones de tutoría frescas, divertidas y amables :)

Mis clases y método de enseñanza

As explained in my introductory video, there are four different types of tutoring sessions that I can offer you: 1: Conversation Practice or "Refreshing": which will boost up your confidence when speaking Spanish 2: The "Pinterest Show & Tell" tutoring sessions, which will allow you to learn new Spanish vocabulary in the most fun and natural way 3: The "Studen Savior" tutoring session, for those times when your Spanish homework might seem a little bit too hard And lastly, 4: The "Volvete Chapín" ("Become a Guatemalan") tutoring sessions, a whole Guatemalan culture insight! My tutoring style is always fun, relaxed, adjusted to your needs and goals, and very efficient :)

What can I saw about Andy? Andy is an enthusiastic teacher who always holds my interest. Our classes are always engaging. And what I appreciate most about our classes is that Andy is not afraid to point out problems that I am having with the language... and is able to do it in a way that is kind, constructive and helpful.
