Greetings! My name is Jolie. I was born in the United States and currently live in the beautiful country of Italy. I teach English locally and online to hundreds of English learners from various parts of the world. I enjoy chatting about coffee and cats (I have three!) in addition to participating in the wonderful cultural and personal exchanges that language teaching and learning brings.Mostrar traducción

I am TEFL-certified and currently teach conversational lessons online and in Italy. While my approach to teaching is rooted in the necessity of conversation, my lessons integrate grammar, vocabulary, functional language, and, most importantly, your needs! I have been teaching English since 2024 and quickly discovered that the world of learning and teaching languages is dynamic and that we are always adapting to changing needs. For this reason, I enjoy offering various options for the learner's needs while still maintaining the fundamentals. I try to foster an environment that is relaxed and allows for (necessary) mistakes to turn into growth.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I have 5 Language Flow (course) options that incorporate grammar, vocabulary, functional language, and conversation for A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 learners. The other course option is The English Café for: impromptu/natural conversations (for those who enjoy simply engaging with the English language in the most casual way), engage in pre-designed discussions with prompts and guidance, article-based discussions (read at home, discuss in class), grammar lessons, practice functional/useful vocabulary, learner-produced resources, or even a mix of each from lesson to lesson. Jolie is a very professional teacher. She is always on time, explains very well and she has a perfect method to teach. At the end of the lessons she wrote the topic that we focused on and gave some homeworks to do.
