Good morning! It's really the peak of the rainy season, and the humidity is insane! It's so hot. Today, I have an English class presentation on "a place I want to visit." I'm so nervous about it. After school, I'll be working my part-time job until night. It's going to be a long day.

Good morning! My mother is going on a trip to Ito starting today. I want to go on a trip too. Summer vacation is just around the corner, so I want to start planning my trip. I plan to go to Kochi, Niigata, and Toyama during summer vacation. I'm already looking forward to it!

It was a Tanabata day yesterday. Did you do anything? I did not do anything special but I ate Japanese barbecue. It was good but I was full. I ordered a Choregi salad and it was a lot of quality. I saw the moon hiding and coming out of the clouds last night. I felt sentimental because I like the moon.

I spent today relaxing at home. My sister made me a dessert for lunch. It was acai, which is popular now. It was very hot today, so it was cold and very delicious. I made acai juice with the leftovers. My sister made me a chocolate cake for dinner. I think I'll be able to sleep well tonight.

I would love to live in Japan for a year and experience their way of life. I'm also interested in learning how traditions and technology co exists. Furthermore, I like to try the authentic ramen in Osaka. :)

English Vocabulary

Today, I'm going to eat sushi with my friends. I’m really excited because I love sushi. I used to like salmon the most, but recently, I’ve fallen in love with engawa. It’s rich and fatty, which makes it super delicious. Engawa is amazing! However, my all-time favorite food is definitely ramen. I think tonkotsu ramen is the best food in the world and probably my favorite for life. Have a nice day!

Today, after school, I went to a café and worked on an assignment. It’s really hot in Japan these days, so I often find myself stopping by a café for a cold drink. It gets a bit cooler at night, so I really enjoy taking evening walks. I have to wake up early tomorrow, so I’ll go to bed soon.

I changed my hair color last Saturday. It’s gray color, and I love it! My friends praised me. Yesterday, it was a little blue, but it’s gray now. I worked hard on styling my hair today. I want to show many acquaintance and go somewhere with my best friend or family.

Today was sweltering – the scorching heat really took its toll. No wonder it’s called summer break! I didn't even consider going out and spent the day on my laptop, where I stumbled across some amazing artwork. Instantly drawn to it, I begged Dad to buy a few pieces (which he did! coz he likes these even more than I do). We decided to print them out for the living room, though the cost gave us pause – printing large pieces in photographic quality is very much costly! After careful deliberation, I settled on a few drawings featuring castles, jumbo jets, cityscapes, and more. As for Dad, he picked a fishing trawler and galleons, convinced his ancestors were fishmongers (that’s unconfirmed). Later, we ordered frames online and plan to rotate the display regularly. Hopefully, I'll pick up a thing or two about art along the way – I'm really excited about that!
