So when I was deciding which topic to focus on for our second episode I really only needed to look at what the people I work with are actually asking for. One of the most common topics that I discuss with people is presentations. Presentations can be great opportunities to use those English skills that you work so hard on, but they also have their own stresses and challenges. Today we’re going to look at some vocabulary that you might hear when watching a presentation and some that you might want to use when giving your own. Halo semua!
Hari ini aku tiba-tiba terpikir tentang sesuatu yang… sederhana banget.
Selembar kertas.
Kayaknya, sekarang kita sudah jarang banget ya, nulis sesuatu di atas kertas. 

Mau nulis catatan? Buka HP
Mau kirim pesan? Ya ketik aja. 
Sampai aku sendiri kadang lupa… tulisan tanganku tuh kayak apa, ya? 

Padahal dulu, kertas itu teman sehari-hariku.
Mulai dari catatan pelajaran, nulis curhatan rahasia,
sampai main kirim-kirim pesan ke teman waktu pelajaran.

Lucunya, waktu aku nemu catatan lama… aku jadi bingung sendiri.
Ini tulisan siapa? Kenapa bisa sejelek ini, hahaha…
Atau... kapan pernah nulis kayak gini, ya? 

Aku ingat, waktu kuliah, aku pernah nulis nama orang yang aku suka di halaman belakang buku…
eh, bukunya dipinjam sama temanku…ketahuan deh!!! malu banget!!

Sekarang, aku kadang rindu… bukan cuma sama masa itu, 
tapi juga sama versi diriku yang suka nulis hal-hal kecil.

Aku yang nggak takut nulis tangan meski jelek.
Aku yang berani ekspresi perasaan pakai selembar kertas.

Kalau kamu, kapan terakhir kali nulis tangan? 
Masih inget nggak tulisanmu kayak apa?
Atau mungkin… kamu punya satu kertas yang masih kamu simpan sampai sekarang? 

Selembar kertas mungkin ringan. 
Tapi kadang, dia bisa simpan perasaan yang berat.
Atau sebaliknya, dia bisa buat kita tertawa ringan…

Today I am going to introduce Japanese idiomatic expressions using "口（くち/mouth）”.
Do you know the meaning of "口（くち）をきく”？　This is a question of JLPT N2.
There are a lot of words using "口（くち/ mouth）”　I think they are interesting.

JLPTの言語知識を問う問題に、「言葉の使い方として最もよいものを一つ選びなさい」というのがあります。
先日、生徒さんとN２の問題をしていたときに、
「口をきく」ということばがでてきました。
彼が選んだのは　「彼は味のことについては口をきいている」でした。
じつは、これはまちがいです。この文は「口うるさい」が合っていますね。　
正解の文は「主人と初めて口をきいたのは電車の中だった。」です。つまり、この「口をきく」は、「話をする」という意味で使われています。
「口」がつくことばは、ほかにもたくさんあります。
口がうまい　彼は口がうまいので、ついのせられてしまった。
口が重い　　父はその話になると口が重くなる。
口が堅い　　彼女は口が堅いので信用できる。
口が軽い　　彼は口が軽いから、大事なことは言わないほうがいいよ。
口が滑る　　うっかり口が滑って、彼女を怒らせてしまった。
口が悪い　　彼は口が悪いが、本当はいい人ですよ。
口げんかする　気が付いたらいつも妻と口げんかしている。
口コミ　　　　どのレストランにするかは、口コミを見てから決めることにしている。
口に合う　　　初めて食べたけど、このスープは口に合います。
口にする　　　体重チェックがあるので、朝から何も口にしていない。
口を出す　　　よその家のことに口を出すのはよくない。
口ぐせ　　　　　彼は一日に何度も「よし！」と言っている。きっと口ぐせなんだろう。
「口」が付く表現だけでなく、「足」「手」「鼻」など体の一部を使った表現はたくさんあります。　意味を知ると結構　おもしろいと思うので、興味がある人は　ぜひ　調べてみてくださいね。
