Written Exercise 90 -Tomato Soup With Noodles And Chopped Ribs(Advanced Version) This is an advanced version of (Written Exercise 89 -Tomato Soup With Noodles And Chopped Ribs). Thanks GuideDogSaint for the corrections! The picture shows a bowl of tomato soup with noodles and chopped ribs. (番茄排骨汤面). I made it for lunch today. It was tasty and it was easy to cook. Ingredients: 1. Two medium-size tomatoes 2. 100g chopped ribs 3. One block of dried noodles (around 70g) 4. 5g oil 5.1-2g salt 6. Half of a spoonful of soya sauce 7. 10g soybean paste 8. 1000ml boiling water You can adjust the quantities according to how many people will share it. I prefer cooking food with less oil and salt. You can adjust the quantities of the seasonings according to your preferences. Steps: Version 1(The easiest way): 1, Cut the tomatoes into 8 or slice. ( If you dislike the seeds, you can take them out). 2, Season the chopped ribs with oil, salt, soya sauce and soybean paste. 3, Add 800ml of boiling water, tomatoes and raw ribs in a pan, and boil for 2 minutes and then simmer for 4 minutes. 4, Add the noodles to the soup, boil it for a further 2 minutes, cover the pan and wait for 1 minute before serving. Version 2 (The tastier version): 1, Cut the tomatoes into 8 or slice. ( If you dislike the seeds, you can take them out). 2, Season the chopped ribs with oil, salt, soya sauce and soybean paste. 3, Add 250ml of boiling water and the ribs in a pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes, and then put them in a bowl. 4, Add the rest of the boiling water and tomatoes in a pan, and boil for 2 minutes and then simmer for 4 minutes. 5, Add the noodles to the soup, boil it for a further 2 minutes, add the cooked ribs with its sauce on the top of the noodles, then cover the pan and wait for 1 minute before serving. I highly recommend you try it if you have no time to cook a full meal or if you are too completely exhausted to cook a nice meal.

Great! You can say One litre instead of 1000ml. The recipe only uses 800ml though. Why would anyone make the less tasty version?! I suppose it is quicker?
