I prefer that they not *use* any language except the target language in-lesson, but all my teachers are multilingual. This may be because the first step in learning to teach is learning to learn. Great question, Adam!

Adam, I think it is better for me if in learning another language the teacher speaks English. That way when she explains certain concepts, (I don't understand) it is easier to understand the other language.
