In my country many people use " what is your good name ? " or "may i know your good name?". i too used many time, but some people telling that it is not correct way and in English there is no sentence like this, they told to ask simply " what is your name?" or "may i know your name?" .
i want to know " what is your good name ?" or "may i know your good name?" is a correct sentences or not

Many English speakers would be thrown off a bit, being asked what their "good name" is. Other ways to ask "What is your name?" could be:
-What do you go by?
-What's your nickname? (informal name)
-What may I call you?

I don't understand what is implied by "good name". Is there a bad name?
The people who advised you are correct: simply ask "What is your name?" or "May I know your name?" (Capital "I" for the pronoun... always!) If you use "good name", it makes you sound non-native.
