Native English speaker, spent a few years learning Italian, then a little Norwegian - still a long way to go in both, but now spending some time reading literature from both countries (in English...), interested in works by Tarjei Vesaas, thought Carlo Cassola was interesting. Interested also in brands of coffee people drink around the world, particular roasters I should try.

e stata una piacevole lezione introduttiva. Tom mi ha parlato un po di se. Per aver cominciato da poco e già ad un buon livello. Gli ho dato qualche consiglio su come impiegare il tempo in modo più fruttifero. A presto.

Grazie Tom. Come ti ho detto hai una buona proprietà di linguaggio e una buona pronuncia, il tuo italiano è molto comprensibile e abbastanza fluido. Con un po' di pratica riuscirai sicuramente a migliorare anche l'ascolto e il vocabolario.

    I think most common, when talking about shoes and sizes, would be "These are a size 11" or "These are a size 11." "These are 11" or "These are a/an 11" sounds a bit unnatural, even if it's clear that shoes are the subject.

    "Hand a copy" makes sense, but I've heard "hand out a copy" more often.

    I agree with Andrew. The first phrase returns more than 60,000 results in Google. The second only returns 2,000 and many of them are language learning questions.

    Yes, this is a fairly common expression. Google News returns back more than 400,000 entries with "reality check" somewhere in the article.

    "Have you ever adventures?" - doesn't sound very natural. You could say "Have you ever adventured [or ventured] to...[someplace]." "Have you ever had an adventure?" - sounds great. "Have you ever gone on a adventure" - you would use 'an' instead of 'a' here. "Have you ever gone on an adventure?" - sounds great.

    I agree with Den's answer here, though if you said "seasonal closing out sale" most people would get the general idea. If you search for "seasonal closing out sale" on Google News, you get 0 results. If you search "seasonal sale" you get 700 results. "Closing out sale" gets about 200 results.

Today I will choose Chinese SF company and Royal Mail company as examples to explore the hidden secret under the package delivery systems, compare and analysis analyze why the gap of express efficiency between the UK and china is quite large.
