Hi! I’m Joel a native Catalan and Spanish speaker from Lleida, in Catalonia. I love sharing my culture and language with people from all over the world. I’ve been living a nomadic lifestyle for a few years, traveling across continents, meeting new people, and working online as a language tutor. For me, teaching is a way to connect — to open doors to new cultures, ideas, and ways of seeing the world. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, surfing, dancing salsa, climbing, learning languages, and exploring local traditions wherever I go. I’m a friendly, patient and flexible tutor. I always adapt to the student’s level and goals. Whether you want to learn Catalan from scratch, improve your fluency, or just practice conversation, I’ll guide you step by step. My focus is on real communication. I love creating a relaxed environment where you can feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and improving naturally. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges — and I’ll support you through them with positive energy and clear guidance. My lessons are based on conversation and real-life situations. We’ll talk about everyday topics — travel, culture, hobbies, work — using Catalan naturally and progressively. I use interactive materials, images, videos, and personalized content depending on your needs and interests. You’ll learn Catalan not just as a language, but as a living culture — and my goal is to help you speak it with confidence and joy.
