Born and raised in the Netherlands, living and working in Mexico. I love teaching and I love working with people. It gives me energy and that is also what I try to give back. I see it as my responsibility to be able to take my students to a higher level, and I'm always motivated to contribute to that. Seeing progress is amazing. Since September 2023, I have been working at the Colegio Albert Camus in Guadalajara, Mexico, as an English teacher. Besides, I have also always continued teaching Dutch, in which I teach privately online as well as offline. I’m more than happy to help people improve their Dutch, for example in preparation for the “inburgeringsexamen” in the Netherlands.
I have experience working with just about all target groups and ages. At school I have taught or am still teaching students from primary school to Junior High, and in my private lessons the ages range from children to adults. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
When learning a language, there are always certain steps to follow. Good understanding of the grammar is essential, supported by professional teaching materials. But I also always try to customize my classes and my program to the student. Depending on the purpose of the course, such as education or work, the lessons will be adapted to the subject.
Besides, I believe that learning a language should be fun. I believe that everyone has a certain aspect that is fun to learn in another language. I try to capitalize on that, in addition to studying the basic concepts of the language.Mes ressources d'enseignement
