I really love to travel and discover new places. I have travelled to Thailand, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, Morocco, Turkey and Surinam. I am a certified teacher and I have worked both online and in school. I am sociable and friendly person, who is interested in meeting new people who come from different backgrounds. I graduated as a MSc in behavioural economics.

Hi, I am a certified English and Dutch teacher with a focus on teaching private classes. For now, I prefer to teach students in Dutch from an intermediate level (b1). For English students I prefer to teach students from a beginner to an intermediate level.

I teach students who have at least an intermediate level of Dutch, I prefer to teach Dutch with a focus on speaking rather than using books and online materials too much. But, of course, I support my lessons with study material when this is needed to fit to the student's needs.

My lessons with Arjan are great. We focus on my speaking skills, and he has done a great job in improving my grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. None of this feels like work however – we just have enjoyable conversations which really help my Dutch!
