I teach Dutch through real conversations and personalized content built around your actual life: your job, your plans, your world. Those conversations become stories, vocab games, audio, and practice materials that are about YOU.

I wanted to do this for all my students but creating everything manually for 30-50 people isn't realistic. So I built systems that support your learning process.
Alongside lessons, I offer a broader Dutch learning ecosystem with tools, podcasts, and daily practice content for learners who want to keep building between sessions.Moi en tant que professeur
Now everyone gets custom content and Dutch stays active between lessons. Students say it feels like talking to a friend. That's the vibe: relaxed, fun, but you're actually progressing. I track what's working and adjust as we go.
I'm learning Thai and Mandarin myself right now. Butchering tones. Forgetting words. So I know what actually helps versus what just wastes your time.
What you get between lessons:

Teaching since 2018. Communication degree, Life Coach cert. I've also trained other tutors, which taught me that what students need is usually different from what teachers assume they need.
What actually happens:
Beginners have real conversations within weeks. Nervous speakers get confident. Students handle work meetings, make Dutch friends, pass their exams. Some bring their partners after seeing it work.

We talk, I figure out your level and what you actually need, and you leave with a plan and your first materials ready to go.

Excellent lesson. Rick is a motivated, bright and engaged teacher. He has a gift for making you feel comfortable and giving you self-confidence in your target language. He is also effective in spotting the areas and aspects of your learning process where you need to work further. Our conversations are always very interesting and after about a month of working with him I feel more comfortable in dutch and my word flow has definitely improved.

Nou meiden, ik ben er vrijwel zeker van dat ik jullie er niet allemaal aan hoef te herinneren dat Rick niet alleen toch helemaal hét is, noch hoef ik jullie natuurlijk niet te vertellen dat hij echt ontzettend fabuleus, verbluffend en prachtig is als leraar Nederlands, maar daarnaast is hij inderdaad ook wel hét moment — Nou kom op nu! 💖
