    Hello! I am learning Korean, and a long time ago, I was told my name Celine was more easily translated to Korean as 세린. But that is just phonetic and I thought it would be fun to see what hanja characters could make up those syllables. I can't seem to find many resources to find any though... does anyone know hanja that would fit or know of a website I could use to figure it out on my own? Thanks!

    The first commenter is more precise, but from a USA native speaker's perspective, the sentence does sound awkward. I would say something more like: "I wash-up often." Or "I wash-up quite often/frequently."

    I would simplify the sentence: I'm trying hard to speak English fluently. Or "be able to speak..."

    Standstill to me conveys the feeling of waiting to move again, where as halt seems like a definitive stop, without the thought of continuing.

    This might be personal preference, but because these sentences go together I would use a semicolon between them: Teaching is like a trip; our first stop is what to teach.

    To me the second one sounds more natural, but if you used the first I would say accompanied to make it sound more natural.

    I'm a bit confused on what you're wanting the sentence to convey. If you are saying 18 months or less, you could say "for almost 18 months." Of you are saying 18 months more, then I would say "for another 18 months."

    I would suggest some of the newer fiction that is released in English, or watching movies set in modern times.
