La Sayona

I remember when I was a young girl, in the afternoons my dad used to listen to the radio on our way to my school from home. We listened to music, news, interviews, but our favorite program was about myths and legends in Venezuela.
Although I was a little girl, I used to love to listen to scary stories, my favorite was called “La Sayona”.
It was the story of Casilda, a young married youth lady who had a six months old baby. One day Casilda saw a man beyond the garden staring at her. Worried, she went through the garden and asked him what he was doing, he said that he was there because he needed to tell her something, that her mother and her husband were having an affair. Jealous and furious she came back to her house, took gasoline and a lighter and burned out with her husband and baby inside.
After that, Casilda ran to her mom's house. At the moment (As soon as ) she crossed the doorstep, (she saw) her mother sitting in a chair reading a book and she started to stab her in the chest. Her mom (started) crying and screaming that she didn’t have anything with her husband, but Casilda didn’t hear listen to her. Before she died, Calsida’s mom cursed her own daughter. At the end Casilda killed herself but she didn’t die, she turned up in became a ghost.
It is popularly believed that “La Sayona” (Casilda) it is now walking along the countryside roads. A beautiful young woman with long black hair, who wore a “saya” (a white sleeping gown). She attracts men by asking them for lift and while they are on their way she kills them. :(

Decido a gastar esta navidad sola (apenas) porque tengo que trabajar en martes y mi familia está ocho horas norte de mi. Estoy poco triste pero es ok porque casi ha terminado. Mas (Pero/Sin embargo) algunas cosas (son simplesmente) justa aburridas! Feliz navidad :)

About me

My name is Talita Sanches and I'm 18 years old. age I'm from Brazil but I have a dream that is to go to Canada and if possible to live there for some period (..of time) for to learn the english language. Maybe this dream can be real (come true) because my university gives (trips) for to some students when they have good scores (grades).
Currently, I'm living in two cities because I am studying psychology in one town and residing there during the week. However, I go back to city of my parents (my parent's city or where parents live) in on weekends. I've some others dreams: like to graduate, to work on what I love, to take care of plants, to adopt a dog and to learn how to make wine. About wine, I have this dream because I love to drink wine and I think your its production much must be very interesting.

Coincidences

A couple of weeks ago I was looking for articles about Ecuador written by foreigners. I found one and... guess what?! It was about my city :)

It was a surprise because my city is not among the most visited places for by tourists so I read it immediately.

It follows says that there is a foundation directed by American people near my house and its purpose is helping the community where it is located. They spent some time visiting some places in the city (also). (because of that they wrote this article).

The interesting thing is they have an English conversation club every Wednesday so now I have a place to practice speaking :)

I guess sometimes it is good to spend some time on the internet looking for something interesting. You never know what you can find.
