Hello everybody, I have lived my whole life in Libya, its my homeland. It's located in Northern Africa, it is an Arabic country, all its people speak Arabic and some of them speak another language called Tamiziq too. Tripoli is the capital, I work in it, it's always crowded, I have to spend an hour to reach my work due to traffic jams. My country has a lot of places worth visiting and has long beaches. We have also many ancient Roman and Greek ruins. Moreover, there is vsriality of climate. (what do you mean with this last sentence?)

There are tons and tons of reasons that make me learn a new language, for instance to communicate with more people than I now can, also, to know and learn more about different cultures different traditions and different religions. On top of that, learning a new language will open many doors for me, i.e. in my job.

I will talk about my experience learning English, I think the most important part although the hardest one too, is the practice of activities that require an output process, like talking & writing. As I am not living in an English speaking country, it is hard to interact & thats the reason i’ve joined italki, it’s in the hope of interacting and i am so glad to find people correcting my topics.

Every day I wake up in morning and take my breakfast, I then drink tea with milk and go to work to complete my various tasks in the company. During the afternoon I go to the mess room to take a lunch and after that I go back to my office again to complete my activities till night. At 7 pm I go back to my house to sleep.

The weather today was very good, you actually get the best weather in Egypt in November. The autumn here is so nice, today was slightly cold in the early morning, then the sun came out at noon and it went back to a gently cold temperature afterwards.

About a week ago, my siblings and I prepared a small surprise for our Dad's birthday, he turned 50 years old! Half a century! If you scrutinize the photo you will notice a big mistake 😂. However, Dad didn't notice. If you meet Dad you'll see how unsocial he is, he loves being alone, reading a lot of articles about politics, he adores history and politics. When he was 18 he authored his first history book. Even though he's unsocial, he is loyal to whom he knows, and generous with people in need. PS: the mistake we had in the photo was the number in the candles.
