Do you agree that schools are not necessary because students can get information from the Internet?

It is true that students can easily get access to a variety of online resources nowadays. However, for several reasons I do not agree with the claim that nternet can be substitute for schools for several reasons.
Firstly, schools play an important role in urging motivating (urging implies to urge them to do something, so you would need to say... schools play an important role in urging students to study, etc.) students,especially lower-grade students. Advanced technology has made it possible to learn all kinds of courses on the internet. Like tradtional classes in the school, many online courses require students to finish assignments and take the final exam. As for those procrastinators who flee the restrictions of schools, finishing studying tasks on time seems quite stuggling to be quite a struggle. After all, A student can be motivated by hard-working classmates and urged (to succeed) by teacher in school, even if he lacks self-discipline.Some people may claim that students can be urged by their parents at home. It is unpractical for busy parents to stay along with their children all the time and monitor whether they are studying or not.
Secondly, The large amount of online information will confuse students who do not have the ability to tell which information is valuable.In contrast, well-experiened teachers in school know what materials to choose and will always offer structured courses to students.
Last but not least, schools not only teach academic knowledge, but also teach many other useful skills like how to cooperate with others, how to get along with peers and, most impornt importantly, how to be an upright person. These skills cannot be learnt on the internet for they can only be gained by practice.
To sum up (In summary, To summarize), the internet can be a possible way to access knowledge, but it can never take the place of schools.

Finish my IELTS exam and be get back to italki (welcom any corrections to my essay are welcome)

After doing IELTS related exercises for around six months, I have finished my IELTS exam. Although I failed to attain my goal, which is to get 7.0 for writing, I still decided to stop intensive preparations for IELTS since I felt sick and tired of doing nothing but practicing writing, listening, reading and speaking in a boring way. The good news of (about, surrounding) my IELTS exam is that I got 7.0 for my speaking, which is beyond my wildest dream.

In fact, I am always thinking about devote devoting myself to wiring writing practice, because I really desire to study teaching in NZ, which requires applicants to get four 7s in each section of IELTS. And from my point of view, as I have already reach reached a relatively high level as for in the other three aspects of English learning, my possible IELTS preparations could be easier than before. However, just as you know, when altering an easy life to a hard one, people need courage. So, I have struggled to weigh up the pros and cons and make the best choice in my life.
