Noting down Out-of-Context Vocabulary and Memorizing it is the Least helpful strategy when it comes to learning new vocabulary. New words have to be Acquired, not Memorized.

「どうしてですか。エレベーターは　速くて　楽ですよ。」･･･知っています。でも、わたしは　エレベーターが　怖いです。だから、エレベーターに　乗ることが　できません。

こんなことが　ありました。３、４年前、エレベーターに　乗っていたとき、急に　エレベーターが　ストップしました。そして、エレベーターから　出ることが　できませんでした。一人でした。だれも　来ませんでした。それが　すごく　怖かったです。

また　ストップしたら、どうしよう？ だから、わたしは　いつも　階段や　エスカレーターを　使います。できるだけ　エレベーターは　使いません。だから、もう　どうして？ って　言わないで　くださいね。

（また）・・・たら、どうしよう？って　しんぱい(Worried)／こわい(Scared)／ふあん(Anxious)です。だから、わたしは、・・・は・・・ません。

１）じてんしゃで　ころびました。×じてんしゃに　のります。
(I fell on my bicycle /ride a bicycle)

２）いぬが　てを　かみました。　×いぬに　さわります。
(Dog bit my hand /pet a dog)

３）おなかが　いたくなります。　×つめたい　たべものを　たくさん　たべます。
(get a stomachache /Eat a lot of cold food)

４）へんなひとが　います。　　　×よる、そとを　あるきます。
(Have strange people /Walk outside at night)


★★Extra thinking training★★
次の「だから」の文は、ＯＫですか。
Are these "だから“  sentences correct?

れい１）れい）わたしは　エレベーターが　こわいです。だから、エレベーターに　のることが　できません。 OK!

れい２）れい）きょうは　あたまが　いたいです。だから、こうえんを　さんぽしました。 ??


１）にほんに　いきたいです。だから、まいにち　８じに　ねます。
２）おなかが　いたいです。だから、くすりを　のみました。

NOTE:
The conjunction “だから（ですから）” can be used to express a reason. “A。だから、 B。" A is the reason for B.
