Having People Round: Hosting the British Way | Real British English #076
説明
Inviting people to your home, or visiting someone else's, comes with set phrases on both sides. Learners who translate directly from their own language may say "Please enter my house" or "Eat more, eat more!", which sound stiff or pushy in Britain, or they may not know how to say no to more food politely. Many also miss that "Come round for tea" can mean an evening meal, not only a drink.
