Listening Lab: At the Supermarket Checkout | Real British English #088
説明
A trip to the supermarket sounds easy, but the checkout moves fast. The cashier asks three or four quick questions, often in a reduced, friendly way, and there's a queue behind you. Learners often translate directly and say "I want to pay with the card" or "Give me the bill" when they mean the receipt.
In this episode:
• How to use this lab
• The scene
• Check the details
• Decode prices and weak forms
• Shadowing
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
