Preposition Masterclass: IN, ON, AT for Time | Real American English #131
説明
Many learners say "in Monday", "on the morning" or "at July", because their own language uses one word for all of these, or a different word in each spot. Others translate "since three hours" straight from their language, when English needs "for three hours". Today you get one simple system for at, on and in, plus the small time words around them: in time and on time, by and until, during, for and since.
In this episode:
• The size rule: at, on, in
• The odd ones: night and the weekend
• In time vs on time, by vs until
• During, for, since
• A kitchen scene
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
