日本は、いま、朝の6時半です。

ろくじはん、とはろくじさんじゅっぷんのことです。

6時半と、6時30分は同じです。

同じ時間です。

あ、もうすぐ、6時32分になります。

この"はん"というのは、30分のことです。

半分(はんぶん)の半と、同じ漢字です。
半年(はんとし)の半と、同じ漢字です。

1時間の半分は・・そう、30分ですね。

私たちはよく、6時30分ではなく、6時半と言います。
ほかにも・・
1時半、いちじはん
2時半、にじはん
3時半、さんじはん
4時半、よじはん
5時半、ごじはん
6時半、ろくじはん
7時半、しちじはん、または、ななじはん
8時半、はちじはん
9時半、くじはん
10時半、じゅうじはん
11時半、じゅういちじはん
12時半、じゅうにじはん

といいます。

例えば、友達と会う約束をするとき、

「明日、何時にする？」

「えっと、じゃあ、12時半はどう？」

「うん、12時半ね。」

と12時30分のことを、12時半、といいます。

とてもよく使います。

ただし、30分間のことを半分間(はんふんかん)とは言いません。

6時半、5時半、というふうに、
時間のあとに言ってくださいね。
