Hi, "nice ride" isn't natural English. You can say "Did you have a good journey?" That covers all forms of transport. If someone arrives by plane, we often say "Did you have a good flight?"

In the UK I think we'd be more likely to say something like, 'how was your journey?' or 'how was the taxi/bus/train/flight here?' The use of the word 'ride' is more American English I would say.
