Yes, exactly that. And the implication of such phrases is also like ‘I’m tired’ or ‘that’s enough, let’s go’ or ‘you’ve had too much to drink/ eat’ kind-of thing!

Yes. The only difference is the time of day. Both mean to stop doing something for the rest of the day/night.
