2 days ago I was with my family and my uncle and his partner in Taranto because in Italy, every year, on the 15th of August, the "feast of the assumption" is celebrated. It's an Italian feast and Italians go on holiday to the destinations they most aspire to visit. Some travel to Italy, some go abroad, and there are also those who want to celebrate this Italian holiday in their own city. But in small towns there is not much to visit or to do so the streets become semi-deserted on August 15th, at least in the city where I live. As you can imagine, the streets in Italy are very busy in the days before August 15th. Well, returning to the day that I spent in Taranto: I got up at 5:00 am and left at 5:30 am. we got there at 8:00 am. We spent the whole day at the beach. The sea was beautiful, really clear. At noon we had lunch, we ate baked pasta and cold rice with eggs and vegetables. At around 4:00 pm we got back in the sea again, we went out after two hours. Then we ate ice cream. After a while we set off to return to our city. I had a really beautiful day. I wish it was always a party! 🤪
