プロの講師Would you rather be the boss or employee?
Not everyone wants to be the boss because being the boss means you are responsible for a lot of people. I think that some people are good at it.
On the other hand l, some people enjoy leadership roles and so they want to assume management positions or even to be a CEO.
I like to be my own boss but not that I want to set up my own company or something. I prefer more freedom with my time.

Boss and employee are related things. If you work in big company with complex hierarchy you will be boss for some group of people and employee for your managers and owner of the company.
As for me I decided to grow as manager. It is not easy way,but it is interesting and it motivates to learn more,to develop, to be proactive. It is good thing.

Your next discussion should be “What is the difference between a boss and a leader?” ; because if I am employed under a boss, I don’t want to work for him. If I am employed under a leader, I thrive in my job and want to please him as much as I can.

In my view, the definition of boss or leader varies between country to country, for example in Iran leader or boss a person have a luxury life, and also he has blue-blooded although he doesn't have merit. Consequently, in my country, people want to be boss.
