I prefer ORGANIC growth: Why people should NOT buy likes and followers on Social media?
 We live in a world where almost everyone is glued to their screen, and we have seen the rise in the number of influencers over the last few years. I know a lot of people bought likes and followers on social media, but it’s not for me. I don’t believe in anything quick, get-rich-quick, get the guy quick and get followers quick. I always use the same strategy that I used in finishing marathons in social media marketing. “START SLOW, FINISH STRONG!” It’s the same technique that I used when I started in the italki discussions last year, I had to constantly prove myself, to prove that give value in my work, in what I write or in whatever it is that I do.


        I started quite late in Instagram marketing, it is because the algorithm has already changed and it is more difficult to start now as a marketer than a few years ago, when Instagram started. What is the purpose of marketing anyways? It is always about the product, the emphasis is on the quality of a product or a service, not the quantity. When a marketer sent me a DM on Instagram, he was selling followers literally. I told him bluntly that I am not interested in having fake followers, I am not a celebrity, not an influencer. I prefer slow growth over a period. I think that if you want to be known or famous, you have to prove that you are worth it over a period. It’s the same in the entertainment industry where several pretty and handsome faces were launched at the same time, but throughout time, only Two were left in the industry. Why? Good looks are not enough, talent and charisma is more important because people are fickle and no one is indispensable online.

Having fake followers and fake likes on Social media is like having fake people in your life. You don't really want them there. It's like talking to no one.
