Ordinary day

Today is an ordinary day,I have spent a lot of time studying English, I have read several English articles. Also,I have listened to music, I have done some housework, and I had an afternoon nap. The weather was sunny, very lovely. Now it's cloudy, it will rain in the evening, I think. 
Of course, the day isn't over, but I like this day, I like spending time with my parents, it's nice. I love my family and my dad and mum, I think they are the best parents in the world. I thank them for giving me great love! I love my life, I'm satisfied.

- I think that Present Perfect would be more appropriate because the time period isn't finished 

- Pay attention to the gerund after certain verbs ( like ) or verbs with preposition ( thank someone for )

- To form the superlative, the compared term ( adjective or adverb - "best" is your case) must be preceded by the definite article "the"
