Turkish: an accent :) Merhaba! Help me to put an accent correctly - is it merhAba or mErhaba or merhabA? I can't use videochats now so I can't hear you say it :)

It's a bit complex. Usually stress is on the last syllable and it keeps moving back as endings are added, or sometimes it's on the first syllable but never in the middle. There are many rules for special cases. Here it's on the first syllable.

Ok. Istanbul says MerhabA. I guess it depends on region?

How come, guys that you say different things? Maybe in different regions is different emphasis?
