I agree with the people above me. I am learning Chinese and learning Pin Yin is not really hard. Actually i find it easier then just sounding things out. Good Luck!! 加油!!

I understood except "jru guah" and "guhn shuoh". But I agree with the above. You can learn pinyin in a matter of hours. I would encourage it.

U need to learn pin yin, it's not difficult for American.
