Your English is very good. Much better than my Japanese! One problem that I have with the sentence "I'm a Japanese..." is that it is very awkward for English. You might say "I am Japanese..." or "I am a Japanese person" (not unlike what you would say in Japanese (日本人です）But then this changes the rest of the sentence a little. You can see it in my example. It may not be perfect, but I think it sounds more natural.
