Today I will introduce a unique female ruler of ancient China. Her name was Wu Zetian. In the feudal system, it was a male dominated society, so it was nearly impossible for women was impossible to be the rulers in this society, but Wu Zetian acheived this. Though in modern society there are still many people that criticize her, I think we need to evaluate her objectively and fairly. During in the time of her reign, power lay with the nation. Wu Zetian attacked the conservative nobles' control and improved the development of economic economic development. At the same time , she also stabilized the situation in the border regions and promoted the development of culture. These contributions were important for the ancient China. Most people thought she was an outstanding politician.
On the other hand, she also killed many people for the sake of power. In order to be an queen, she killed her daughter and son. To maintain stability during her rule, she also arranged many killings of people who were against with her. This is why many people criticized her.
Nevertheless i think plenty of kings also done this actionskilled many people to keepmaintain the stability of their regime. Why did so many people criticized Wu Zetian? I think it is because she is a woman. A female ruler in a male dominated society was hard to accept for most people. As a consequence she became a legendary figures.

1) we don't use 'an' before the 'you' sound. for example we say: a unique problem, a european issue, a unicorn, a uniform, a eulogy. This is because it sounds like it begins with a 'y'.
2) make sure you put a space after commas, fullstops, question marks etc.
3) you can write 'I' in lower case in informal emails and messages, but as this passage is quite formal you have to use the standard upper case version.
4) avoid using 'I think' for facts. e.g.*' I think many kings killed lots of people'*. This would not normally be regarded as a matter of opinion. On the other hand you could say 'I think she was judged harshly as many kings also did this' this would be a good use of language as this <em>is</em> a matter of opinion.
5) don't start sentences with simple conjunctions such as 'but', 'so', and 'and'.

6) normally we says kings and queens killed people, not murdered people. This is because murder is the unlawful killing of someone and monarchs were often considered to be above the law.
